The first day of this challenge was TOUGH! I spent all day getting my blog ready, writing out my goals and guidelines for the next 90 days. I was so tired at end of the day when I realized that I haven’t even worked out on day one.
Well, did I fail before I even started? NO! See, for a lot of us, the perfectionists, we are so hard on ourselves that if the beginning was not perfect then we call it quits. I used to be like that, but over the years, I learned to give myself permission to not be so perfect ALL THE TIME. I celebrate my accomplishments and strive to be better the next day.
What did I accomplish on day 1 of 90?
- Wrote down goals & guidelines
- Took measurements
- Made better food choices
- Followed 16:8 Intermittent Fasting (IF) schedule
- Blogged
What I ate on day 1 of 90?
- Lunch: Roast duck with sautéed cabbage and brown rice
- Dinner: Turkey burritos with feta cheese
What did I learn?
I need to schedule a time for work out, otherwise it will not get done.
I recently rediscovered Tae Bo with Billy Blank on YouTube. I remember I bought the Tae Bo VHS tapes at Target when I was in college and doing the workout in my little studio apartment on the 3rd floor of an old Victorian house in Duluth, Minnesota.
I love this fast paced and fun workout, and I am going to do a 30-minute workout today to get my body moving!
So glad you’re blogging again, Amy! I enjoy reading your blogs and the photos you post. Wishing you all the best in your 90-day challenge! I know you are up to it and will accomplish it! I’m rooting for you! ☺️
