Summer is fasting approaching, as the temperature is getting up to the 80s, I realized that I haven’t been drinking enough water.
I tend to drink a lot of hot tea during the cooler months, but I haven’t been doing that since the beginning of this challenge. My desire for hot beverages has diminished along with the rising temperature. My daily water intake is getting down to less than 40 oz. This, is not good. I MUST HYDRATE!
According the article Water and Your Diet: Staying Slim and Regular With H2O on WebMD, we “should try to drink between half an ounce and an ounce of water for each pound we weigh, every day.” So, I dug up the largest water bottle I had, and made a goal to drink 3 of these bottles each day. I don’t know if this will actually help me lose more weight or not, but it can’t hurt. I am going to keep track of my water intake, and hopefully at the end of this challenge the data can tell us something interesting. Until then, keep on hydrating my friends!
